Following our first Mountain Biking Expedition in 2014, we organised the Second Edition as we aspired to take it to another level in terms of Participant demographics, trail complexity, magnitude, speed, drama, action and execution.
11th, 12th and 13th December 2015 witnessed a grandiose event biking on out of the ordinary trail. It was the benchmark event for atmosphere, innovation and organisation.
WTH Biking Challenge, a 3-day biking tour encompassed 230 kms cycling at 6500 feet above sea level in the breath-taking Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Highlights of this tour were 35 kms of off-road ride, amazing single-track with great flow, tons of jumps, and fast terrain.
The ride offered mesmerising views of the mountains, dense jungles, gurgling waterfalls, serene lakes, bubbling rivers, stars, vibrant Himalayan birds, fish, conifer-scented air, the friendly villager, the odd leopard and the larger than life Himalayan Ranges.
Set against spectacular scenery, the journey also included plenty of opportunities to soak up the surroundings of Himalayas. This was a mountain biking event for those who truly love the mountains.
