"If you are looking for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is just the right place for you… secluded from the nearby villages, overlooking the kosi river and a-midst the lush green mountains. The resort is very well maintained, food is excellent, you will get to taste some of the local cuisine and if are game for some adventures, then there’s options of trekking, mountain biking etc. I definitely recommend this property." - Mr. Rajarshi Mitra

"We spent around 3 days in this beautiful resort. The accommodation itself is a beauty. It is a serene experience sitting in the balcony of the room and seeing and hearing the sound of the river flowing across the road. Perfect for all kind of travellers – family with small kids, old couples, honeymooners, adventure seekers…it’s a one package fits all kind of a place. Our 5 year old twin boys enjoyed playing in the river for hours, we loved the small treks arranged by the staff around the resort and the adventurous activities in the campus. You can take a simple walk, jog or cycle on the pollution free roads. The food was in simple home cooked style. Will look forward to our next trip to Kosi valley retreat." - Mr. Shreyas
'First of the route to Kosi Valley along the Kosi river is brilliant. Freshly laid tar made it a joy to ride on. They have 4 odd bedrooms and a few tents(which means less clamor unless a huge group of lands up there) and a dinning area which are neatly constructed and maintained. The entire structure is made of stone and the surroundings equal a river (Kosi), a forest(the retreat is built in the forest), a beautiful village living the simple life(sustenance farmers mostly). A walk into the forest ( 1 hour at most) is super recommended as it comes with quaint clean streams and dense foliage in parts. Beware of the stinger leaves ! Recommended to go with the guide the retreat provides rather than venture out alone as the path is confusing. The food deserves a special mention – It’s fabulous! They cook the food just the way you want it(customized completely) . Do try out the local veggies they grow in their vicinity instead of the regular “paneer”. The staff is very helpful in arranging walks, rock climbing etc as well. We didn’t get a chance to try it all though having been there 2 nights. Nevertheless, a great place to spend three nights for sure. You can go visit Kausani (which is a 30 minute drive uphill) , but didn’t find any place particularly interesting there. So you are better off just lazing around Kosi Valley retreat and doing the fun activities they have planned instead." - Mr. Karthik
“A stay at Kosi Valley Retreat is what can be best defined as idyllic. From the virgin surroundings, flowing Kosi and locales that offer a view to die for, the retreat itself is a little gem waiting to be discovered. The best part has to be the fact that it is ably managed by Siddhartha and his team from Walk To Himalayas that ensure that you always have something to do. The location is close to important regions in Kumaon making it accessible yet where you have your privacy. With great food – that is healthy and local and the numerous adventure activities there is not a moment of boredom here. Kudos to the team.” - Ms. Bindu Rao
“Stay was amazing, and we were lucky that no one else was there at that time, so we got the personal touch of your staff.” - Mr. Bhanu Negi
“Kosi Valley Retreat a place full of peace. We had the best time of our life and had an amazing thrill of rock climbing, and a wonderful experience of fishing at Kosi River. Service and food was excellent. They also managed to meet my personal request. Would love to visit again.” - Mr. Nilesh Gandhale
” Absolute amazing experience. I was spellbound by the surroundings and Kosi Valley Retreat has a lot to offer to travelers like us. I got to experience trekking, mountain cycling, river activities( Kosi is just next to the retreat). It was serene and peaceful . Wold love to go again . An ideal place for relaxing and also enjoying some bit of adventure”. - Mr. Amit Sohani
“My experience at Kosi Valley retreat was nothing short of a spectacular and an amazing journey. You get up to the chirping of the birds and from a distance can hear the river flowing just few metres away from the retreat. We did moutain biking the whole day over there followed by sumptuous food at the retreat. The food was one of the best experiences i had in the mountains with the dinner table filled local delicacies. Its an experience to witness nature while staying at the retreat, with we walking in the moonlight after dinner in search of wilderness. Overall i will sum it up as one of the best experiences i had with nature and wild. Planning to go back soon.” - Mr. Vipul
